Our world class Chefs come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and many have extensive experience with Michelin-star restaurants and have won numerous awards, including "Meilleur Ouvrier de France", the highest honour bestowed on culinary professionals in France.

Proven Teaching Techniques

The unrivalled Le Cordon Bleu teaching methodology combines demonstrations followed by hands-on practical classes in professionally equipped kitchens. Courses are taught at succeeding levels under the guidance and supervision of chef instructors.

Professional Kitchens

Demonstration classes are held in professionally equipped and specially designed state-of-the-art kitchens with the most sophisticated professional culinary tools and equipment . Tilted overhead mirrors and video cameras give students a chef's eye view of specific techniques as they're being performed.

The Building

Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute operates out of a heritage building, Munross Mansion, which was constructed 1874. The original building has been restored and is home to Le Cordon Bleu Bistro @ Signatures.

Le Grand Diplome Professionnel: Designed for the aspiring chef, Le Grande Diplome Professionnel is a 10 months intensive program that will fast track your career in the culinary arts. Through four levels of study, you will develop technical skills moving from basic to more advanced techniques in cuisine and pastry while earning important industry certifications and gaining real-life work experience.

Cuisine: Learn the art of French cuisine from a school that has a renowned reputation for culinary excellence since 1894.
